Iran on the spotlight

In the last few weeks, Iran and its President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad have been on the spotlight. Everybody has been watching because big events could be unfolding. The political gladiators are on the show including those in the United Nations and the European Union. Tony Blair has been at the forefront and now George W. Bush has jumped on the show.

The crisis all started with the  alleged uranium enrichment program of Iran until the show was focused last March 23 when  British sailors and marines  were arrested and detained by Iranian naval units. According to Iran the sailors were arrested for trespassing. But the British side says the sailors were plucked from Iraqi waters – and not from inside Iran as alleged by the Iranian Navy.

President Bush has branded the capture of Britons as inexcusable act of Iran while President Ahmadinejad says of Blair and Bush as arrogant. Tension is building up.

As Biodix biodiesel monitors oil from major sources, we now see in Iran more looming instability. This makes us the more resolved on our search for alternative renewable energy.

We keep on watching. We keep on praying for peace on earth.
